TinyOhms

TinyOhms opens straight onto a breadboard. Drop in a battery, a resistor and an LED, and the circuit runs the moment the loop closes. Current flows along the wires as moving chevrons, the LED glows brighter or dimmer with the real numbers, and if you push too much current through it, it pops. Nothing to install, nothing to solder, nothing to break.

REAL PARTS, REAL MATH
Every component behaves like the one in the drawer: resistors follow Ohm's law, LEDs have a forward voltage, transistors amplify, capacitors charge and drain, and the 555 timer ticks at the frequency its resistors and capacitor set. Under the hood is a full circuit solver (the same kind of nodal analysis SPICE uses), so the readouts are the ones you would measure with a meter.

SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING
• Live current flow on every wire, with direction and strength
• Inspect mode: tap the eye to read every node voltage and branch current
• A built-in scope that traces voltages over time — watch a capacitor charge, or a 555 output square wave
• Real sound: buzzers beep and piezo speakers play the pitch the circuit sets
• Room-light and temperature sliders to drive light sensors and thermistors
• Short-circuit and overload warnings before anything "burns"

BUILT FOR LEARNING
TinyOhms is made for teens and any complete beginner. There is no lesson to sit through: build, watch, change one thing, and see what happens. Twenty ready circuits take you from a single LED to a light-following night light, a blinking timer, a one-shot pulse, a pitch control you can hear, and a traffic-light sequencer built from a 555 and a 4017 counter.

YOUR OWN LIBRARY
Sign in with just your email (a code, no password) to save circuits to your library and open them on the TinyOhms website Workbench too. Export any board as a SPICE netlist or share the board file.

ON THE BENCH
Free: wire, jumper, batteries (3 V, 4.5 V, 9 V), resistor, LED, switch, push button, buzzer, light sensor (LDR) and NPN transistor — everything the beginner projects need.
TinyOhms Pro (optional monthly subscription): potentiometer, capacitor, 1N4001 diode, DC motor, thermistor, piezo speaker, the 555 timer and the CD4017 counter. Circuits from the library always open in full, whether or not you subscribe.

TinyOhms Pro renews monthly until cancelled in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
