Tip Tracker - Shift

Shift is the tip income tracker and tip calculator for servers, bartenders, baristas, and delivery drivers - log your tips in 30 seconds at the end of every shift and see your REAL hourly rate.

HOW MUCH DO YOU ACTUALLY MAKE?

$280 in tips sounds great. But was that a 6-hour dinner shift ($46/hr) or an 11-hour double ($25/hr)? Shift calculates your true effective hourly rate - tips plus wage divided by hours worked - so you finally know the answer.

30-SECOND LOGGING

Shift type - hours worked - cash tips. Done. Log it while you're still counting the money. Optional fields (credit card tips, sales total, notes, mood) for when you want the full picture.

SHIFT COMPARISON THAT CHANGES BEHAVIOR

Saturday dinner earns $48/hr. Tuesday lunch earns $23/hr. Same restaurant, same uniform - 2x the pay. When you see the data, you start requesting the right shifts. Shift shows:
- Day-of-week comparison: which days earn most per hour
- Shift type comparison: dinner vs lunch vs doubles vs brunch
- Your best and worst shifts at a glance

TAX ESTIMATOR - NO MORE APRIL SURPRISES

Tips are taxable income. Your employer withholds on your wage and credit card tips - but NOT on your cash tips. Shift calculates exactly how much to set aside from each cash shift. Put 25% of your cash tips in a jar every night. Never face an unexpected $3,000 bill in April again.
