This service is not appropriate for those needing emergency care or in danger of harming themselves or someone else, but it is a convenient alternative for those looking for immediate care for other ailments or help with a mental health concern.

WHO IS IT FOR?

TMC Now providers are certified in internal medicine, family practice or pediatrics that can treat patients over the age of 2. TMC Now also offers three levels of mental health providers including psychiatrists, psychologists and master’s level therapists. Providers can diagnose, recommend treatment and prescribe medication, if medically necessary, for many medical issues, including:

• Sore throat and stuffy nose
• Allergies
• Cold and flu symptoms
• Bronchitis
• Poision Ivy
• Pink Eye
• Urinary tract infection
• Respiratory infection
• Sinus problems
• Ear infection
• Mental health conditions including addiction, anxiety, big life changes, depression, family difficulties, grief counseling, LBGTQ issues, marital issues, stress, work pressures*

*Providers will not prescribe any controlled substances or order a refill for an existing medication

TMC Now is not appropriate for those with more emergent health care needs such as:

• Shortness of breath
• Chest pain or pressure
• Severe bleeding
• Head injury
• Weakness and/or numbness to one side of your body
• Loss of consciousness/fainting
• Severe allergic reaction
• Abdominal pain/discomfort
• Nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea
• Diabetic complaints
• Severe depression, hallucinations, or thoughts of suicide

• Pregnancy related concerns
• Injury to the eye

These symptoms may indicate a medical condition that requires immediate medical attention. Please seek medical care immediately by going to the nearest emergency department or call 911.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

• Request a consult: Open the TMC Now App and request a consult with either a medical provider or a mental health provider, provide medical history and pay for the consult. Your TMC Now account is also available at tmcnow.tmcaz.com or (855-754-6898).
• Talk to a provider: Within minutes, a licensed provider reviews your medical history and contacts you via phone or video.*
• Pick up a prescription: If a prescription is a medically necessary next step, a prescription can be submitted to a local pharmacy of your choice.

DOES TMC NOW REPLACE MY DOCTOR?

No. Your primary care provider or primary mental health provider knows the intricacies of your health and is crucial in providing care that’s right for you so you can prevent illness, manage chronic conditions and identify health concerns early.
TMC Now provides general medical and mental health care for those times when you’re too busy, too sick, or it’s too late in the day to see your own provider. You can download a copy of your visit information to share with your regular provider at your next scheduled visit.

HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE?

Most medical visit requests are answered within 30 minutes or less. While you’re waiting for the next available provider to come online, we’ll keep you posted on your status. If you miss your visit, you’ll be returned to the end of the queue.
Our consults have no time limit so make sure you have the answers you need to get back on the road to recovery. *

*Mental health visits are scheduled for a time that is convenient for you within 72 hours of the request and last for one-hour.
