Description by Jun Kim(from the App Store)
Keep your quit-smoking goal in view. Tobacut brings your current quit time, estimated savings and daily records together, so you can see your progress and decide what to record next.
See your progress at a glance Check your current quit time and cumulative estimated savings, calculated from your start time and usual spending. Review the days you have explicitly recorded as smoke-free in the calendar.
Keep progress on your home screen Use a home screen widget to see progress without opening the app. Widget shortcuts open the daily record or breathing preparation screen, ready for your next step. Choose whether progress and estimated savings are visible.
Make a daily record Check in with today's smoking status, or add an entry with the time, amount and optional notes. Record cigarettes, heated tobacco or vaping products according to your quit plan. Review and edit past entries in the calendar, and choose reminder days and a time that fit your routine.
Take a one-minute breathing break When you want a pause, follow the visual guide for one minute. You can pause or stop when you choose. The session pauses when the app goes into the background or is interrupted.
If you smoke, you can keep recording Your current quit time is calculated from your start time or the latest recorded smoking time for a product in your quit plan, whichever is later. Earlier records and accumulated estimated savings stay, so the next entry can continue from your existing history.
Use your language and spending currency Choose English, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese, Serbian, Macedonian, Indonesian or Turkish. Select from 14 spending currencies. Changing language does not translate notes or convert saved amounts; different currencies are not combined into one total.
Start without an account Core records and calculations work offline. Primary records stay in an encrypted database on your device. Usage analytics is optional and off by default.
How progress is counted Today's check-in covers only the time up to confirmation. A recorded smoke-free day must be a completed past day you explicitly confirm as entirely smoke-free. Missing dates stay unrecorded, even while the quit timer and savings estimate continue.
Savings are cumulative estimates based on your start time and usual spending, not measured cash savings. Editing the start time recalculates the estimate with a before-and-after preview. A full reset is available in Settings.
The app has no cloud backup or cross-device record sync. Deleting it or changing devices may make records unrecoverable. Widget updates depend on the operating system and may arrive later than changes in the app.
Tobacut supports personal records and lifestyle habits. It does not diagnose or treat medical conditions or medically verify abstinence.
Keep a breathing break on your wrist Use Apple Watch to view a recent progress summary sent from your iPhone or start a one-minute breathing session on the watch. Breathing works without a phone connection; the summary requires transfer from your iPhone and shows an update prompt when it expires. Completing a breathing session does not record or confirm a smoke-free day.
Core features remain free. Tobacut Pro removes ads with a monthly auto-renewing subscription.
Each subscription will automatically renew 3 days before the expiration date for
the same time period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the renewal.
