Today, a Note — Photo Diary

Even ordinary days become extraordinary when you record them.

"Today, a Note" is a minimalist diary that strips away complexity to focus on a single photo and one honest sentence. Bring the quiet beauty of white space into your day — and your Instagram story.

- One photo, one moment
No need to choose between many shots. The single photo that captures today, plus a short line, is enough.

A serene handwritten typeface and lyrical paper-textured background turn your day into a page of a personal essay collection.

- Subtle traces of memory
The app naturally surfaces the season and place captured in your photo, adding depth to each entry.

A signature filter quietly enriches everyday scenes, and a clean weather icon completes the atmosphere of the day.

- Memories blooming on the calendar
As you scroll through the seasons, the day's memory gently settles onto the calendar as a thumbnail.

The app gathers the words your mind has lingered on most over the past month — a quiet window into your own heart.

Older entries are easy to find by text or place.

- "Printing" to Instagram Stories
Like placing a page in a frame, share your writing on Instagram through three emotive layouts (Classic, Polaroid, Cinematic).

To share only the photo's aesthetic, toggle "Hide text." The image goes out clean, while the sentence you wanted to share is silently copied to the clipboard — ready to paste with a single tap.

- Today's print on your home screen
Widgets in various sizes fit your home screen.

If today's entry isn't filled yet, the widget speaks to you with a gentle, soft blank.

- A private space for you alone
Your precious diaries and photos stay safely on your device and in your personal iCloud — never on external servers. A truly private, one-person diary.

You can lock the app with Face ID or a 4-digit passcode. Choose when it locks — immediately or after up to 15 minutes — and your entries stay hidden even in the app switcher.
