Description
Tog is a new social platform that exists to connect you with those friends with a great taste for movies and TV shows. With Tog, we don’t tell you what to watch next – your friends do. Instead of relying on AI and algorithms, we’re letting the people whose taste you really trust do all the legwork.
• Send/Receive recommendations – seen something you loved? Send it to your friends and make sure they watch something they’ll enjoy • Request a recommendation – Pick your friends’ brains about what you should watch next. You can even filter your request by choosing one or more genres • Title page – find relevant information about a specific movie or TV show, such as what your friends thought of it, where to stream it or where to buy/rent it • Rate any title – if you loved, hated, or felt indifferent about a movie or TV show, make sure you let your friends know! Pro-tip: rate as many titles as you can, and you’ll avoid receiving a recommendation of a title you’ve already watched • Profile – build top 10 lists, add titles to your Watchlist, see what your friends have recommended to you and see all the titles you’ve rated so far divided into 3 rating playlists • Feed – any activity from your friends will appear here – ratings, additions to watchlist, top 10 movies and TV shows, and recommendations they’ve received from their friends. A helpful and quick source of things to watch – and a great way to start a conversation, too! • Discover – search for titles, add other users, and find out what is trending within your network
