Touchstone: Focus & App Block

Your phone buzzes. You reach for it before you've decided to. That's not a choice — that's reflex.

Touchstone puts something physical between you and the apps that keep you scrolling. A tap creates space. Space is where the choice lives.

HOW IT WORKS

Build a list of the apps you want less of.
Customize the rules for that list.
Activate it.
Tap your phone to the Touchstone.
Go live your day.

Put your Touchstone wherever your day actually happens: desk, nightstand, kitchen counter, fridge. One tap starts a blocking session. One tap ends it. The friction is small, but it's real, and real friction is what turns reflex into a decision.

INSIGHTS WITHOUT THE LECTURE

Intention needs information. Touchstone turns raw screen time into answers:

How often am I picking up my phone?
Which apps take the most of my attention?
When am I most likely to get pulled off track?
Am I actually improving?

No shame, no wall of numbers. Just an honest picture of your habits and how they're changing week over week.

SQUADS MAKE IT STICK

A locked door only works while it's locked. Being noticed works all the time. Start a Squad with friends, family, roommates, or teammates:

Set goals you're all working toward
Run friendly competitions to cut screen time
Challenge each other to stay off specific apps
See each other's progress and celebrate the milestones

Nobody's policing anybody. But knowing your Squad can see the week you had changes what you do at 11pm.

BUILT FOR REAL LIFE

Families use Squads to make phone-free dinners something everyone opted into instead of a rule somebody enforces. Students form study Squads through exam season. Couples take on evening scrolling together. Teams run focus challenges during crunch weeks. Whatever you're rebuilding, you don't have to do it alone.

THE IDEA BEHIND IT

Technology has become effortless. Intentional living hasn't.

You don't need a phone that decides for you. You need room to decide for yourself, a clear view of what you chose, and people who are in it with you.

Space becomes a choice. Choices become habits. Habits become routines. Routines become the life you're building.

It's not about spending less time on your phone. It's about using it when you want to.

WHAT YOU NEED

Focus sessions, insights, and Squads all work in the app on their own. Touchstone also pairs with a small physical device, sold separately, that blocks and unblocks your chosen apps with a tap. The device is what makes the space physical.
