Toxiqa TD is a hand-drawn pixel-art tower defense game about holding a quarantine
that has already failed. Sixty-one levels, three chapters, and one very bad week.
THE CAMPAIGN
- 61 levels across three chapters: Zombie Outbreak, Mutated Hordes, and Ground Zero
- A story told the way a containment site would tell it, in field dispatches and PA
announcements, while you fight
- Earn stars to unlock what comes next: 25 to reach the mutations, 55 to reach Ground Zero
- A hidden final level for anyone who reads the whole file
TWELVE TOWERS, FOUR PER CHAPTER
- Zombie Outbreak: Basic, Chemical, Cannon, Sniper
- Mutated Hordes: Arc (chains lightning), Railgun (pierces armour), Incinerator
(burns over time), Flak (anti-air)
- Ground Zero: EMP Suppressor (shuts down enemy abilities), Cryo Mortar (slows and
strips armour), Supply Depot (generates gold), Shredder Nest (sustained damage)
- Every tower branches at its final tier. Pick a specialisation, not just a bigger number
- Six targeting modes on every tower: first, last, strongest, weakest, support, shielded
21 ENEMY TYPES
Bike zombies that outrun your guns. Chemo zombies sealed in hazmat suits, immune to your
chemistry. Tunnellers that go underground where nothing can reach them. Shielded ranks,
flying bosses that spawn their own escorts, Bloaters, Juggernauts, Brood Queens. And,
eventually, Patient Zero.
WHEN THE LINE BREAKS
- Strike, Freeze and Repair: active abilities on a cooldown, for the moment it all goes wrong
- Call the next wave early for a 30% gold bonus and fight two at once
- Wave modifiers keep every run honest: Swift, Armored, Shielded, Regenerating, Frenzy
BETWEEN RUNS
- Scrap from every level buys nine permanent upgrades
- Three difficulty modes that change pacing, density and rewards
- Endless mode for each chapter once you have cleared it
NO ADS. NO ENERGY BARS. NO PAYWALL.
The whole game is here, start to finish, for free. There is one optional tip if you would
like to buy the developer a coffee. It unlocks nothing and it is not needed for anything.
Containment is a formality. Hold anyway.
