Type or paste text from any app
Type a word you forgot, paste a passage, or send text from any iOS app via the Share Sheet — Safari, Mail, Messages, Notes, WhatsApp. Highlight, tap Share, choose TranslateIt, done.
Tap-to-listen on every translation
Speaker icons next to both the original and the translation play it aloud in a natural voice. Useful for pronunciation practice and for letting your conversation partner hear it spoken correctly.
Offline mode — free forever, no subscription
Tap the Cloud/Local pill at the top of the Audio or Translate tab to bypass the network entirely. Apple's on-device Translation framework handles the translation, Vision handles photo OCR — all on your iPhone, no data sent anywhere, no daily cap. Falls back automatically when there is no connection.
Apple Watch companion
Translate from your wrist with the bundled watchOS app. Tap to start recording, tap to stop, hear the translation played back automatically. Cloud mode; requires a paired iPhone with internet.
