If the treadmill says 5.0 km but Apple Watch logs 4.6 km, enter the actual treadmill distance and save a corrected copy to Apple Health.
How it works:
1. Select an existing Indoor Run or Indoor Walk from Apple Health.
2. Enter the distance shown on the treadmill.
3. Review the corrected distance and derived pace, then choose how splits should be recalculated.
4. Save a new corrected copy to Apple Health.
Your original workout is not edited. Remove it separately in Fitness if you want only the corrected copy in your history.
Compatible sensor metrics, such as heart rate and cadence, are preserved when HealthKit permits. Some metrics cannot be written back by third-party apps.
