Tunorum: Hum to Sheet Music

A melody in your head, but you can't write it down? Sing or hum it, and Tunorum transcribes it into notes on a piano roll and on a staff.

No account, no upload, no internet needed, and no limit on projects. Everything runs on your device, so your recordings stay yours.

Tired of apps that mishear you? Tunorum keeps your key, finds the tempo and the time signature, and flags the notes worth a second look. Fix any note with a touch and check it against your own voice.

Need to get it to your band, arranger or teacher? Export MusicXML, MIDI or PDF, or share the whole project.

You don't need to read music or play an instrument.

RECORD OR IMPORT
• Tap Record and sing, with a count-in and a metronome you can hear in headphones, see or feel, if you want one
• Or import a voice memo, a rehearsal recording or a melody a friend sent you
• Recordings up to 10 minutes long

NOTES IN SECONDS
• Pitch detection runs on your device: no internet, no upload, no waiting
• Key, tempo, time signature (4/4, 3/4, 6/8) and pickup are found for you. Sing freely, no click track required
• Your voice is drawn right over the notes, so you see exactly what you sang
• Notes worth a second look are flagged with the reason, so you know where to check

EDIT WITH A TOUCH
• Drag a note to change its pitch or timing, stretch it to change its length
• Add a missing note anywhere with a touch and hold
• Split, merge, snap to the grid, transpose
• Choose how detailed the transcription is
• Undo anything, even after you restart the app

LISTEN AND PRACTICE
• Hear your voice and the notes together, or blend them with one slider
• Loop a phrase and slow it down to ½ or ¼ speed without changing the pitch
• Notes play with a synth or piano sound
• Note names as letters (C, D, E) or solfège (do, re, mi)

SHARE AND EXPORT
• Sheet music on screen, engraved like a printed score
• MusicXML and MXL for MuseScore, Sibelius, Dorico and other notation apps
• MIDI, quantized and as sung, for GarageBand, Logic Pro and any DAW
• PDF to print or send to your teacher
• Audio of your take

SHARE THE WHOLE PROJECT
• Send the project to a friend, a co-writer or your teacher: your voice, the notes and all settings in one file
• It opens right in Tunorum on their iPhone or iPad, ready to listen and edit
• Free, no account needed

MADE FOR SINGERS
For songwriters who hear melodies in their head, singers and voice students, choir members, and teachers who need a quick transcription. Works with VoiceOver.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything happens on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your recordings stay on your device unless you share them.

GOOD TO KNOW
Tunorum writes down one melody line: a single voice. It isn't made for chords, lyrics or full songs with accompaniment. A clear voice in a quiet room works best; singing on "la" instead of words helps, and headphones with the metronome help with rhythm.
