Description
Turn your dog into pixel art from a single side-view photo. On the Home screen, your dog wanders around a cozy pixel house. Keep walking and the house fills up with furniture, and your dog learns tricks (shake, tail wag, stretch, jump...). Tap it and it tells you how it's doing based on your records. Uchinoko is a walk tracker and daily diary for your dog: routes, meals, weight, poop and pee, milestones, medication and vaccine reminders, and vet visits.
[Your dog in pixel art, from one photo] Choose a side-view photo (or take one), and the app cuts your dog out right on your iPhone and turns it into pixel art. It walks around a room with a sofa and a TV, stops to look around, and naps in front of its crate. The room dims at night, and the weather outside the window is the real weather where you are. No photo handy? Start with "Try with a sample dog" and retake the photo later.
[The house grows as you walk] Walks unlock a dog bed, a big picture, a bookshelf, a lamp, a clock, a toy box, and new curtains and a rug. Your dog also learns tricks and shows them off now and then. Log a meal and it eats from its bowl; come back from a walk and it celebrates.
[Tap to hear how your dog is doing] Tap your dog and a speech bubble tells you what your records show, like "No poop logged for 2 days," "This week's walks are below the breed guideline," or "No walk yet today." Concerns come first. It also celebrates birthdays and adoption anniversaries. It doesn't diagnose anything (if you're worried, talk to a vet).
[Breed guidelines and this week's check] Choose your dog's breed (151 breeds) to see general guidelines for walks, food and weight. Trends compares this week's records with the guidelines: low, just right or high. The food guideline comes from the daily amount on your food bag, or from weight and food calories.
[Record your walks] Tap "Go for a walk" to record your route, time and distance. Recording continues with the screen off or locked. On the map, your dog walks right where you are. Mark poop and pee on the map during the walk, and replay the walk afterwards.
[Daily records and trends] Log meals (amount and notes), weight, poop and pee, and milestones (photos and notes) with big, easy buttons. Records are listed by day, and Trends shows walk distance, meal amounts, potty counts and weight as line charts, from 1 week to all time, compared with the previous period.
[Medication and vaccine reminders] Add reminders per dog for heartworm and flea/tick medication, rabies and combination vaccines, and more. You get a notification on the morning of the due date. Mark it done and the next date is set automatically.
[Vet visits and a summary for your vet] Record vet visits (clinic, what the vet said, treatment, cost). Get a one-page summary of weight, daily averages, visits, reminders and milestones to show your vet, or share it as a PDF.
[Home Screen widget] Put the pixel house and your dog on your Home Screen, with today's records and the next reminder. Your dog moves to a new spot every 30 minutes.
[Made for multi-dog homes too] Register up to 5 dogs. They all live in the house and go on walks together, with records kept per dog. The second dog and beyond require Premium (one-time purchase).
[Your records stay on your iPhone] All records are stored only on your iPhone and are never sent to a server.
[Ads and Premium] Ads are shown at the bottom of the Records screen. Buy Premium (one-time purchase) to remove the ads and register up to 5 dogs.
Each subscription will automatically renew 3 days before the expiration date for
the same time period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the renewal.
