Until Spring

THAW: Keep the Fire Alive is a cozy survival game about the warmest job in a frozen valley: keeping the furnace lit.

A blizzard has buried the valley. Keep one furnace burning, chop pines and carry towers of logs on your back, thaw survivors frozen in the ice, and build a camp around the warmth. Every night is colder. Build the camp and bring everyone home, and spring comes.

ONE THUMB
Drag anywhere to walk. Chopping, carrying, feeding and building happen automatically when you walk up to them.

A REAL CAMP
Twelve survivors wait out in the snow in three waves. Spend logs to thaw them, lead them home, and a survivor with a bed becomes a worker who chops and stocks the woodpile by day while you push into the cold.

FOUR CHAPTERS
Pine Hollow, Wolf Pass, Frozen Lake and Whiteout Ridge, each opened by finishing the one before. Then endless mode, for as long as you can hold the valley.

DAWN BONUS ROUNDS
After most nights, a short pull-the-pin rescue or gate run earns a permanent perk and logs for the woodpile. You can skip it.

THE HEARTH
Embers earned every run buy permanent head starts and coats, so every attempt warms up the next one.

Every sound is original procedural foley, and the music turns from Morning Frost on the Ridge by day to A Vigil in the Snow by night. The whole game is readable in three seconds with the sound off: orange glow on blue snow, a ring that shrinks, a stack that grows.

Keep the fire alive.
