BURN TIME FOR ANY HOUR
Set your skin type once, from very fair to deeply pigmented, and the app shows how long unprotected skin can stay in the sun before sunburn starts. Tap any hour on the chart to see the burn time for that moment - the morning walk, the lunchtime run, the late-afternoon beach. When the sun is low, you simply see that a burn is unlikely.

TAN SAFELY - WITHOUT BURNING
Love the sun? Get the tan, skip the burn. Your safe tanning window is calculated for your skin type and the current UV level, so you know when to lie down and when to move to the shade. Pair it with the SPF timer and a great tan never turns into a painful sunburn or peeling.

DAILY UV ALERTS
Turn on alerts and get the two notifications that matter: a morning summary at the time you choose, and a warning shortly before the UV level crosses the protection threshold for your skin. On calm days the app stays silent. Alerts are free and never more than two a day.

Your UV index falls into five color-coded levels, from safe to extreme:

- Moderate (3-5)
- High (6-7)
- Very High (8-10)
- Extreme (11+)

Get sunscreen recommendations built around your skin type and set an SPF reapplication timer. A reminder arrives at the right moment, including after swimming or heavy sweating, so you never wonder whether it is time to reapply.

VITAMIN D WINDOW
Sunlight is also how your body makes vitamin D. The app shows when the UV level is high enough for synthesis and how many minutes of sun you need to reach 400, 1000, or 2000 IU, taking into account how much skin is exposed - all while keeping you below your burn time.
