Veg: Vegan & Diet Scanner

Veg tells you whether food fits your diet, from packaged products to a restaurant menu, right on your phone.

SCAN A BARCODE
Point your camera at any product barcode and Veg checks it instantly against its bundled product database.

NO BARCODE? SNAP THE LABEL
Photograph the ingredient list and Veg reads and classifies every line, highlighting anything your diet excludes and explaining why.

SCAN A MENU
At a restaurant, Veg highlights each menu line live: green when it fits, amber when it depends, red when it doesn't. Save menus to look at later.

NINE DIETS
Vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, dairy-free, gluten-free, keto, paleo, halal and kosher. Pick yours and change it anytime.

HONEST ANSWERS
When an ingredient could be plant- or animal-derived, Veg says "Depends" instead of guessing, and tells you what to look for on the package.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All scanning and text recognition happens on your device. No account, no tracking.

WORKS WITH SIRI AND SHORTCUTS
Ask Veg about an ingredient without opening the app.

Classifications are best-effort. Always double-check the packaging, especially for strict diets and allergies. Product data derived from Open Food Facts (ODbL).
