Veiltask: Light Up Your Tasks

Veiltask is a to-do list where finishing real tasks lights up a hidden pixel world, and your plans stay private.

Everything you write stays on your iPhone in an encrypted database. Turn on sync and your tasks are encrypted on your device before they leave it: our server stores them but cannot read your tasks, notes, lists, dates or reminders.

PLAN YOUR DAY
• Lists, tasks, subtasks, stars and priorities
• Due dates, reminders and repeating tasks
• Day, week and month calendar, with your phone's calendars shown alongside (read-only, never uploaded)
• Fast local search

LIGHT UP YOUR WORLD
Finishing real tasks earns light. Spend it to lift the fog over a pixel world that only you can see, not even us. Pick one task each day as your lamp: it's the one that counts most. No streaks to lose, no penalties for taking a break. Prefer a plain task list? Turn the world off in Settings.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Works without an account
• Optional end-to-end encrypted sync between your devices
• Add a new device by scanning a QR code
• Recovery key so you never lock yourself out
• Delete your account and server data from inside the app
• No ads, no trackers, no analytics

If you forget your passphrase and lose your recovery key, nobody, including us, can recover your synced data. Keep your recovery key safe.
