Visit Recorder

Visit Recorder automatically records on your device places you have visited as an aid to recalling where you have been. Devices include iPhone, iPad and Apple Silicon Mac. The app records location and arrival and departure times. This can help you remember where you have travelled or who you have visited. If you are a tradesperson or consultant or sales executive or nurse making home visits etc, the app automatically records which locations you have visited and for how long.

Visit Recorder receives Visit events from the iOS Location Services system and saves them with the location address to its database. These events are delivered to the app even when Visit Recorder is in the background or even if Visit Recorder is not executing in the background. You do not have to ensure Visit Recorder is in the foreground or even running. If the system terminates the app it will restart the app when it needs to deliver another Visit event. 

Visit Recorder needs ALWAYS access to your location to function most effectively. Please go into Settings, find Visit Recorder and set its Location access to ALWAYS even before it prompts you.

Visit Recorder gives the user the ability with the tap of a button to record the current location with time and address into its database.

Each Visit and Location can be viewed on a map and annotated with a description.

The Visits and Locations can be shared via a CSV file via email or SMS.

The app saves the device's location when it starts up. By default it deletes Visits and Locations more than 35 days old.
The number of days of visits and locations that are stored in the app can be set in the Settings app.

NOTE:
Visit events may take a while to be delivered to the app. The iOS Location Services system is responsible for determining what is a visit, and the accuracy and timeliness of the data delivered to the app. This accuracy may depend on such factors as the hardware, the mobile carrier, iOS version, etc.

Please go into the app every day for the first week until you are asked to ALWAYS allow access to your location to Visit Recorder.

PRIVACY
All data is stored only on the device and nowhere else. It is not stored in iCloud. Visit Recorder does not send the data anywhere except by user request.
