ViviDiary is a gentle mood journal that starts where journaling should: with how you feel. No blank page, no pressure. Just one tap to check in — and a soft, beautiful space to look back on your days.
We rebuilt ViviDiary from the ground up. Here's what it's like now.
YOUR DAILY CHECK-IN — 5 SECONDS, NOT 5 PARAGRAPHS
Open the app and tap your mood: Great, Good, Okay, Low, or Rough. That's it — you've journaled today. Want to say more? Add as little or as much as you like:
• Emotion & activity emojis — tag feelings, people, meals, work, sleep, exercise and more
• A quick memo, a voice note, or a photo
• An optional AI conversation: chat about your day, and ViviDiary writes a warm first-person diary draft for you to read, edit, and confirm. You always have the final say — nothing is saved without your review.
TRACK ONLY WHAT MATTERS TO YOU
Mood is the only thing you ever have to tap. Every other field — emojis, memo, voice, photo — is a toggle you turn on or off, so your check-in fits your life instead of forcing every box.
A MONTHLY CALENDAR OF HOW YOU'VE FELT
Home is a soft monthly mood calendar — a month of your feelings at a glance, in clay-emoji or watercolor view. Tap any day to revisit it, and let "On This Day" gently resurface memories from the past.
ROUTINES + TODOS, WITHOUT THE GUILT
The new Routines tab keeps gentle habits and daily to-dos in one calm place:
• Routines — things you want to keep an eye on, like walking, reading, or drinking water
• Todos — one-off things to handle today
They check off on their own when you log a matching mood or emoji. A warm streak counter cheers your good runs and resets quietly if you miss a day — never a "streak lost!" alarm.
ANALYTICS THAT ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND YOU
Your patterns, in four simple lenses:
• Trends — how your mood and activities shift over time
• Routines — how well you kept each one
• Impact — a ranked feed of what lifts you up and what brings you down
• Recap — look-back discoveries and a "My Year" view
Gentle insights surface the patterns you can't easily see yourself — and every one is tappable, so you can jump straight to the days behind it.
A CLAY COMPANION THAT REFLECTS YOUR MOOD
A soft clay character quietly mirrors how you've been feeling — a warm, living presence in your journal, not a chart and not auto-generated art.
HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
Seven home screen widgets: a one-tap mood check-in, this week's mood, today's routine and todo lists with in-widget check-off, a monthly routine grid, a monthly mood calendar, and a mood-over-time chart. Glance — or log — without ever opening the app.
