Created by doctors, the VNSC app streamlines patient referrals and provides excellent patient care promptly. The app can be used by a medical professional as well as by a patient for self-referral. All we request is the patient’s contact information and a reason for the appointment. Referring healthcare professionals or patients can choose a VNSC physician based on the diagnosis provided. After the referral is complete, the chosen VNSC physician and the office staff will receive a notification to contact the patient referred and schedule an appointment.

A physician or other medical professional can refer patients to the care of VNSC doctors quickly by providing a possible diagnosis and the patient’s contact information. Additional information can be added along with the level of urgency. A patient may also request an appointment by referring themselves. The app filters VNSC physicians based on their specialty so the medical professional or the patient can be seen quickly by the appropriate VNSC physician. A referring medical professional can refer a patient without an account or set up an account to enable future referrals to submit quicker. Medical professionals who set up an account will receive notifications from VNSC updating the account holder to the referral receipt as well as status updates as VNSC contacts and schedule the patient for a visit with a VNSC physician.

The app is HIPAA compliant, and referrals are cited by initials and a designated number for referring account holders once the patient information has been submitted to VNSC.
