Download and select “Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → English → Ava → Ava (Premium)” instead of the default “Samatha”. Or, Long Press “Repeat Last” for shortcut.

Adjust “Spoken Content → Speaking Rate”. Or, Long Press “Skip 5 Seconds” to cycle between 1x, 1.5x, and 2x speeds.

See our open-source code on Github. Support all existing iOS devices including iOS 15+ (iPhone 13 to 15 or iPad 9 to 10). We use Apple’s Speech Framework for on-device recognition and synthesis. We use OpenAI’s ChatGPT4 streaming API with 8K and 32K token contexts for low perceived latency of less than 2 seconds.
