Particle visuals that drift like deep space, paired with sound that follows your breath. As the session unfolds, the visuals shift slowly, creating time to turn your attention toward your own breathing.
■ Three breathing methods
▷ Natural breathing (inhale 4 seconds, exhale 6 seconds)
The simplest breathing rhythm. For everyday relaxation, or a quiet moment before sleep.
▷ Box breathing (4-4-4-4)
An even cycle of inhale, hold, exhale, hold. For when you want to focus, or settle your mind.
▷ 4-7-8 breathing (inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8)
A deep relaxation breath that activates the parasympathetic nervous system. Effective before bed, or when stress feels intense.
■ Session length
Choose 1, 3, or 5 minutes, or unlimited. Review your practice with session history and a calendar heatmap.
■ Sound and haptics that follow your breath
A synthesized drone shifts with your breathing. In standard sessions, you can enable 40 Hz amplitude modulation. On iPhone, haptics mark each phase change. With Voidspace Plus, you also get a haptic tick every second, and a double tap at each transition.
■ Voidspace Plus — one-time purchase
Sleep mode moves from the breathing guide into ambient sound—space, rain, or waves—and fades out gently at the end of your chosen time. Choose 15, 30, or 60 minutes. A black screen and per-second haptic guidance during breathing are also included.
Sleep mode and the black screen work while the app stays open. Locking the screen or switching to another app will pause the session.
When a session ends, screen wake is released, and the display turns off according to your iPhone Auto-Lock setting.
