Volume Podcast Player

Volume Podcast Player is a podcast player that does what others can't: when even the maximum iPhone volume is not enough, it adds its own boost of up to +80 dB, with a limiter that keeps the sound from distorting.

Great for quiet recordings, noisy commutes, running outdoors, cooking next to the speaker, or anyone who needs speech louder and clearer.

BOOST BEYOND THE MAXIMUM
• One volume control: system volume first, then the orange boost continues smoothly once you reach 100 %
• Up to +24 dB of boost by default, with an extended range of up to +80 dB for extremely quiet recordings
• Peak-detecting limiter – the output never clips
• Volume leveling: quiet passages are boosted more than loud ones
• Speech enhancement: less bass, clearer voices
• Boost and speed are remembered for each podcast

CONTROL FROM YOUR WATCH AND HEADPHONES
• "Buttons control boost" mode: the forward and back buttons on Apple Watch, other smartwatches or headphones change the boost
• A short confirmation tone right in your headphones

A COMPLETE PLAYER
• Search two large podcast catalogs or add any RSS feed
• Private subscription feeds – their address is stored in the Keychain
• Background downloads, optionally over Wi-Fi only, automatic downloads of new episodes
• Up Next queue, chapters, show notes with tappable timestamps
• Speed 0.5–3×, adjustable skip lengths, sleep timer you can extend by shaking
• OPML import and export
• English and Czech, light and dark appearance

NO ADS, NO DATA COLLECTION
No account, no ads, no analytics. Your library and settings stay on your iPhone.

PLEASE NOTE
High volume can permanently damage your hearing. Boost only as much as you need. iOS volume limits (Reduce Loud Audio, Volume Limit) may soften the boost – the app explains where to adjust them.
