Wake cub: Heavy Sleeper Alarm

Your alarm doesn't work. Not because it isn't loud — because you can turn it off without waking up.

Wake cub fixes that. It won't stop until the camera watches you actually do something.

Not a maths puzzle you can solve half-asleep in bed. Not a "swipe to dismiss" you do on autopilot. Real, physical, out-of-bed proof.

PICK WHAT IT MAKES YOU DO

Brush your teeth — the camera checks there's a real toothbrush in your hand and that you're actually brushing.

Squats — counted properly, with a depth check. Choose how deep. No half-reps.

Punches — at the camera, each one with a real retraction. Flailing doesn't count.

Jog in place — the countdown pauses the moment your legs stop.

Photograph a place — set a spot in your home in advance (the kitchen, the bathroom). The alarm won't stop until you're standing there photographing it. This one physically removes you from the bed.

Maths or vocabulary — if you want the classic version. Free forever.

BUILT TO BE HARD TO BEAT

• Swipe the app away? It keeps ringing. The alarm is a burst of notifications, not a process you can swipe away — so you never have to wonder whether you remembered to leave it running last night.
• Turned the volume down last night? It forces it back up while ringing.
• The camera runs entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, nobody sees it. Ever.

WAKE UP WITH FRIENDS

Add friends by QR code and see who's still in bed. If someone's oversleeping, send them a nudge — and pick which task they have to do to make it stop.

Attach a note to it: a line of text, a voice message, or a photo you have to take right now. They only get to read, hear or see it once they're out of bed and the task is done.

Get up fast and you score. Lie there and you don't. There's a running total, and your friends can see it. Points buy things back — one week of every task (once per account), 30 days of a single camera task, or a sound effect for your next nudge.

You choose who is allowed to wake you, and you can block or report anyone.

ALSO IN THERE

• Multiple alarms, each with its own tasks — stack up to 3 tasks per alarm if you're serious
• 12 ringtones
• A home-screen widget showing your next alarm
• Dark mode
• English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어

FREE VS PREMIUM

Free forever: as many alarms as you like, maths and vocabulary tasks, every ringtone.

Premium unlocks the camera tasks — brushing, squats, punches, jogging, photo. The annual plan comes with a 7-day free trial. Or take the one-time Lifetime unlock and keep them for good.

Wake cub is for people who have already tried the other alarm apps and overslept anyway.

If you can get up with a normal alarm, you don't need this. If you can't — this is the one that doesn't negotiate.

SUBSCRIPTION

Wake cub Premium is an auto-renewable subscription, available as annual and monthly plans. Pricing is shown in the app in your local currency. A 7-day free trial is included with the annual plan.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

A one-time Lifetime unlock is also available. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. Every task stays unlocked for good; use Restore Purchases on a new phone or after reinstalling.
