Every part of Watchworks was built in three dimensions and photographed in a virtual light tent. The case, the dial, the hands, the crown. The watch is not a vector drawing. What you see is light on metal.

The waves in the dial are openings. Behind them the escapement works. The balance swings, the pallet fork flips, the escape wheel advances. Five beats a second, 18,000 beats per hour, the beat of a classic pocket watch. The second hand steps with every beat.

At start the watch shows its back, turns to the front and is wound with three turns of the crown. Then it runs on the time of your device. The intro can be switched off.
