WherePlaced

Where did I put that?

Keys, cables, tools, documents, spare parts, boxes in the attic… we all put things somewhere “safe” and then forget where that safe place was.

Where? helps you remember.

Take a photo of a place, save what is stored there, and find it again later in seconds. Search using your own words and Where? shows you exactly where your item is.

Perfect for drawers, cupboards, storage boxes, garages, sheds, offices and anywhere else you keep things.

HOW IT WORKS

• Take a photo of where you store something
• Where? uses AI to recognise what is in your photo
• If multiple things appear in one photo, you can choose what you want to keep
• Give the place a name, such as Living Room, Garage or Top Drawer
• Search naturally for what you need
• See exactly where you stored it

SMART SEARCH

You do not have to remember the exact name you used.

Search for things like:

“Where are my spare keys?”
“USB cable”
“Passport”
“Red screwdriver”

Where? understands common search terms and helps you get back to the right item quickly.

PLACES INSIDE PLACES

Organise your belongings the way your home is organised.

For example:

Home > Living Room > Side Table
Garage > Tool Cabinet > Top Drawer
Attic > Storage Box > Christmas Decorations

Everything stays easy to browse and easy to find.

QR LABELS FOR STORAGE BOXES

Create printable QR labels for your places and boxes.

Stick a label on a closed storage box and scan it later to instantly see what is stored inside — without opening every box first.

YOUR THINGS, YOUR PRIVACY

Photos, recognition and search are handled on your device. Your personal belongings are not uploaded to someone else’s server.

iCloud sync can keep your library available across your own Apple devices, and you can create a backup whenever you want.

FIND THINGS FASTER

Where? can also work with Spotlight, Siri and widgets, making your stored items even easier to reach.
