210. Geburtstag während des Europäischen Kulturerbejahres 2018 unter dem Motto Sharing Heritage entstanden ist.

William Lindley war maßgeblich für die Wasserver- und -entsorgung in vielen europäischen Städten verantwortlich. Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, Warschau und viele andere Städte wurden durch ihn und später durch seine Söhne modernisiert.

Wie wurde Hamburg die moderne Großstadt, wie wir sie heute kennen? Was hatte es mit der prächtigen Badeanstalt inmitten des Stadtgebietes auf sich? Und wie funktionierte damals eigentlich Hamburgs hochmoderne Wasserversorgung? Diese und viele weitere Fragen wird der Herr mit dem Zylinder gerne beantworten – und das persönlich, spielerisch und informativ in mehreren AR-Experiences, wie es sich für einen echten Visionär gebührt.

Diese App ist vom Denkmalschutzamt Hamburg initiiert und von Shape-Shift in Kooperation mit der Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg und Hamburg WasserForum entwickelt worden.
