WL WELL VHS makes connecting with a Board Certified Doctor, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Provider) easy. Simply open the WL WELL VHS app anywhere (from any state, territory, and the District of Columbia) using your smartphone or tablet device. An associated Provider is ready to connect with you to address you or your family’s urgent care needs. Easily get your prescriptions sent to your favorite pharmacy (including emergency PEP/PREP), or directly to you so you can shop for the best prices or generics. WL WELL VHS is doing all we can to eradicate the racial disparities in healthcare due to healthcare and unequal access to care.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Download the WL WELL VHS App (FOR FREE) from the App Store. After a quick setup You can easily and immediately create a video enabled consultation with a Board Certified Medical Professional licensed in your state (the state where you are currently located). If you are at work, you can set up an appointment with a doctor based upon your mutual schedules (or right then). After selection, provide a brief medical history about your planned consultation and pay for the visit. Within minutes, your doctor, after reviewing your medical history and the reasons for your visit, will connect with you by video.

Feel open and comfortable discussing your issue with the WL WELL VHS connected medical provider of your choice. They will address your concerns, recommend appropriate courses of action, and they will believe you. This allows you to follow-up with your own personal doctor (if you have one).

**WL WELL VHS is proud to announce the creation and addition of the Emergency Services Beacon (ESB) icon to our home screen. The ESB is an "alt-911" GPS enabled mental health emergency distress beacon. User can submit a dispatch request by entering the location of the service recipient: "Me (user), Known Relative or Other, or Unfamiliar Person in Need." (uses Google Maps for GPS)

Currently, 911 dispatchers face problems identifying calls involving mental health emergencies. Far too often police officers, untrained to handle mental health emergencies, are called; resulting in far too many tragedies. The ESB creates an alternative to dialing 911 by providing a direct link to waiting Emergency Services Providers (ESPs) who are all Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) or Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs). Use of the ESB is 100% free for all users. (Some areas may not have ESP response services available. The device will inform you of you are in one of these areas.)
