Each level hands you a group of letters and a different assignment: words starting with a given letter, odd or even length, words that chain off the last letter of the previous one, no repeated vowels, words that keep getting longer... There are over 30 different rules, so no two levels are the same. A word scores by its letters: common ones are worth little, rare ones a lot.
CLASSIC OR CHILL
- Classic: you play against the clock. It's the only mode that scores, the only one that counts for the ranking, and the only one that builds your perfect streak.
- Chill: the same level with no clock. No score and no ranking, and it pays half the coins — but it does pay, and it does open the next level.
Switch from Settings whenever you like. Progress is shared between both modes; stars aren't — they belong to each one.
8 REGIONS AND THEIR BOSSES
Bootcamp, Letterforge, Hourglass, Chain, Spellweave, Heist, Mirage and Summit. Each region has its own map, palette and levels, and ends with a boss that has its own trick: one rushes the clock, one reforges your letters, one chains two of your tiles together, one vetoes your next word, and one steals letters off your rack. You get told which before the fight. Beat it and its sticker is yours.
1 TO 3 STARS PER LEVEL
Each region asks for a number of stars to open, and you also have to beat the previous region's boss. The Atlas, at the top of the map, takes you back to any region you have already opened.
BONUS LEVELS AND MINIGAMES
They hang off the main path, on the little side branch of the map. Each one is a different minigame: Anagram, Word Guess or Missing Letters. Open them with coins or by watching an ad — once opened, they stay open.
SUPER POWERS AND BOOSTERS
See the words you already used, add seconds to the clock, or swap your letter group, paying with coins mid-level. Plus boosters you take into the level: Word Joker, Extra Time, Freeze Day, Streak Shield and Double Coins.
MISSIONS AND DAILY REWARDS
Daily, weekly, monthly and all-time missions in one place, with the daily reward right beside them. Come back every day to grow your streak and open mystery boxes.
YOUR COLLECTION
Stickers, the bosses you have beaten, your personal dictionary with every word you found and its score, and your themes. Plus a medal case that fills up on its own as you hit milestones.
FRIENDS AND RANKINGS
Invite friends with a link or by showing your QR code, and scan theirs. Friends, weekly, monthly and all-time boards. Share your stats card.
MADE TO FIT YOU
English and Spanish, each with its own dictionary. Light, Dark, Cyber Pink and Nord themes. Music and sound effects with separate volumes, haptics, and support for large system font sizes.
Wordamundo is free and ad-supported. An internet connection is required.
