xade roast

xade roast provides different modes.
All modes allow you to find a matching roast by first locating the roast using the xade roast scale. (see below regarding compatibility):

Picker mode
------------
Pick a roast from the live stream and set the maching roast in the roast picker.


Nano mode
-----------
Attach xade nano to your iPhone camera and turn your iPhone into a precise roast measurement device.
Access the measurement history of the last 90 days with the Pro Feature subscription and the history enabled.
Run measurement batches and export your batch or history data as json.

Microscope mode
------------------
Switch to microscope mode and select between different zoom factors (5x/10x/15x) and look into the details of your coffee.
Recommendation: use xade nano for optimal lighting and sharp images with the hassle free fixed focus condition.
Measure particles using the ruler grid.

Particle mode
------------------
Switch to particle mode to get particle statistics of your ground coffee.
Tip: Use a brush to dust the coffee on a white sheet of paper to get reliable results. Use xade nano for optimal lighting and focus point.

Cube mode
-----------
Place your iPhone on the xade cube and turn your iPhone into a precise roast measurement device.


Card mode
-----------
Use your own setup to measure the roast.


The roast result is compared to our sample roast list or to beans and roasts created by you (Pro Features subscription).
In conjunction with xade cube you can turn your iPhone into an extremely precise roast measurement device.

Finding the perfect roasting profile for a specific taste needs experience.
Being able to detect even slightest differences below human perception, is a helpful addition to your toolbox.
