YO KAZZI APP is an initiative of Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and Uganda Small Scale Industries Association (USSIA) that is aimed at serving both enterprises and employment seekers served indirectly across the East and Central African Region. The app contains:

• Contracts and Tenders
• Directory of companies
• Skills and training opportunities
FULL DESCRIPTION
Yo Kazzi App the main features and functionality groups is
a). Information on employment opportunities in Enterprises –
- Potential employers and employees(with their competencies).
- Available jobs for wage and salary.
- Short Term (One off Jobs/Contracts)

b). Information on Contracts and Tenders
- Available Tenders
- Prequalification for Companies
- Available support to tender

c). Directory for Companies by Sector with description of their
products/services and location. Product Marketing
- Available advertising opportunities for youth enterprises
- Available advertising opportunities for employer companies and their products.
- Product marketing opportunity.
d). Skills Training Opportunities
i). List of enterprises that offer non formal enterprise-based skills training, trades,
locations, duration, training fees and qualification system.
ii). Remote Tutorials on different topics eg Safety and Hygiene, Work readiness,
technical skills, Life Skills etc.
iv). Available consultancy support and assignments.
The App serves the following purposes:
1. Allow Trained youth to identify available employment opportunities.
2. Allow Employers to identify qualified employees.
3. Provide a directory for companies and promote their products
4. Allow Employment Seekers read, listen to audio and watch video-based employment messages
5. Allow Employers to link with produce (Raw material) and equipment suppliers
6. Provide enterprises with information on tenders and prequalification for companies.
7. Call and send text to stakeholders that are involved in particular value chains
8. Provide a feedback to employers and employees on the service of the App.
9. Allow for the development of a trusted online community and
10. Provide a list of the existing non formal enterprise-based skills training opportunities and tutorials.
