REQUIREMENTS:
• An Ubuntu 24.04 server (x86-64): a cloud VPS or a home server
• SSH access with a user that has sudo privileges
• A public IP address or hostname
• On a VPS: allow the VPN's UDP port (42763 by default) in your provider's cloud firewall, if it has one. The VPS must support TUN (standard KVM virtual servers do)
• On a home server: forward the VPN's UDP port on your router

PRIVACY:
Your SSH login is stored securely in your device's Keychain. It's used only to restart the VPN service on your own verified server, and it is never sent to anyone else. VPN keys are generated on your device and stay there. All VPN traffic flows directly between your iPhone and your own server.
