Description

Zucar es una aplicación desarrollada por el INS que ayudara a los profesionales nutricionistas durante la consulta nutricional dirigida al paciente con diabetes mellitus tipo 2.

Zucar es una herramienta gratuita que contiene una calculadora que estima el estado nutricional, necesidades energéticas de la persona, distribución energética según macro nutrientes y establece el número de porciones de intercambio por grupos de alimentos a fin de que el profesional nutricionista pueda elaborar un plan de alimentación al paciente.

Asimismo, cuenta con una sección de apoyo de contenidos técnicos referidos a valores referenciales de indicadores bioquímicos, índice glicémico, carga glicémica y conceptos básicos sobre diabetes, éstos últimos a poder ser vistos por la población en general.
