Fantastic app. My only issue so far has been that it seems to suggest localhost: for port forwards and use ipv6. OpenSSH uses the simpler ipv4 by default. As port forwards can be seen as 127.0.0.1 and Permit Open is often 127.0.0.1 then the sshd log message (request was denied) is confusing (no ::1 mentioned). To my surprise using 127.0.0.1:port in the connect bot forward setup solved it. Edit: My OpenSSH server's use Address Family inet.

Awesome ssh client for mobiles and tablets. Been using it for years! Latest version 1.10.1 has an issue with entering numbers via ms swift key keyboard or keepass2andeoid keyboard. Doesn't work via long press on letters and doesn't work via number input either. Only sending numbers as text to terminal works. Please fix asap.

Great app, just one small issue keeping it from 5 stars for me, when the special keys line appears, it covers the last line of the console. Would be great if it kept one blank line at the bottom for the special keys line. Other than that, it's great, and I use it all the time! Edit: Yes. That was what I needed. 5 stars for you!

Used it for years, and it works great for me. Reliable, if not intuitive how to manage multiple connections. Once you get used to that, it's fantastic. Connect Bot has been my go-to emergency SSH client for 7 years now.

5 star before the update. Now almost unusable. Input from the keyboard is now very difficult. The UI has taken a step backwards too.

Previously you couldn't copy the public key, only the private key. I brought this up on GitHub. This was resolved, but the bug is back on the last update. This app is horribly maintained and lacks basic functionality.

The last update broke configs of all my connections. So I had to add all my keys again. Why?!..

Worked just fine until April 2026 update. And now a bunch of stuff is broken. SSH connections that use keys don't work. Frequent disconnects without warning. Bell notifications are not working. Navigation buttons disappear. Double-typing letters. Text spilling over tmux panes. Can't submit a bug report without creating a GitHub account. I suggest uninstalling and going back to a previous version (1.9.11 works fine) or switch apps until issues are addressed.
