The news is good but the app is average. The main issue is the lack of customization available. I have zero interest in sport but the feed is riddled with it. The 'for you' section wastes too much space with large photo panels for every story. Too many short videos (I really don't want to watch anything) and other stuff I have no interest in like 'mood booster' all detract.

Why does it keep going back to the top when I exit a news article? Also, why do we see news articles repeating themselves as as we scroll down? I'm sure you can do better than that with taxpayers money so please fix it. News content is generally ok but a spell and grammar check before posting would help decipher some articles.

It used to have a widget so when you looked at your phone you saw ABC News ... it's gone, so I never open the app now ...

Awful. I really don't know how this new redesign ever got signed-off. I want the news, I want it logically shown. ABC have moved to "Clickbait" headlines, a TikTok-type For You feed, "Shorts" and they take up more space than the actual news articles. Sticky "Share" junk that chases you down the page, "Cards" plastered throughout the actual articles. Anybody older or with low vision would struggle with this. I'm glad I brushed up on my sloppy CSS skills and fixed the mess of your horrid new site.
