not a good solution to skip the "slide to unlock" Upon pressing the power button, the "slide to unlock" screen will still appear and disappear in a second. And every time waking the phone there will be a kind a blink happens. Already uninstalled.

Renders pattern lock useless I thought I'd found the solution I'd been looking for. I searched for a way to disable the slide lock and go straight to the pattern lock so that I could have a way to secure my phone and not have the extra, unnecessary step of the slide lock. This was recommended on androidforums and seemed to, for the most part, work at first glance. Then, I accidentally did the wrong pattern on my pattern lock. Instead of making me do the pattern again, it showed that I did it wrong, then disappeared and showed the slide lock, allowing me to go right ahead and open the phone with the slide lock, completely bypassing the security measure I put in place to protect sensitive information I keep in my calendar. What's the point in using a pattern lock if it's rendered useless for security purposes?
