Backgammon is a game of skill and strategy and one of the world's classic parlour games, played for recreation and as a gambling game. Like Mahjong, this is a game that is played in social groups in coffee houses and bars. Historically variants of this game are believed to have originated in Egypt over 3000 years ago, but was picked up by the Romans and then later to India. It also spread to east Asia, but was then largely replaced by Xiangqi (Chinese chess). It is now very popular in the west.

Featuring:
-- User friendly interface
-- Strong Backgammon AI
-- 3 Boards and piece sets
-- Full match play + doubling cube
-- Hints, 2 player hotseat and stats
-- Designed for both Tablet and Phone

*Does the Backgammon engine cheat? See "CPU Strategy" page + Manual Dice option (use real-world dice) to prove to yourself that it doesn't*

ERM, who won!? I really like this game, the graphics are nice and smooth, but it keeps taking my wins as it's own!! I've caught it doing several times now. I always play first to 3, the other day we were one point each, I won the third game by doubling the CPU and it claimed it beat me 3-1!?!? It's a CPU, so I don't really care, but come on!!!

Biased Roll Despite what the developers maintain, the rolls do not seem evenly distributed, particularly once both players are bearing off...still entertaining but rather frustrating too.

Solid AI One of the better AIs I've found, with no 'cheating' that I can see. One problem, however. The AI does not avoid backgammon. Instead of moving pieces out of the other player's home quadrant they are content to be backgammoned instead of just gammoned. This is on the hardest difficulty. Please fix this! Otherwise it's great.

I give. It's all F----d.. I initially gave this 1 star because I felt the game was designed to cheat to compensate by auto doubling at the high levels. Then I played, studied the stats and listened to the company response to my accusations of cheating doubles being designed into the game. Update: This BS app is beyond apprehension, comprehensive understanding as to the devs constant insistence that; "THIS GAME DOES NOT CHEAT"! Designed to cheat Without doubt nor fail. Back to one star. And F__K You!

Does cheat At level 5 it throws an incredible amount of perfect rolls, getting the exact numbers on each die it needs. I have thrown pieces out just to see if they get hit and they almost always do, even if there is a 1-in-6 chance. Otherwise a great game.
