Description by Chislon Chow (from Google Play)

This is a blank, transparent lockscreen or homescreen widget without any functionality. Use it to fill up pages on your lockscreen (prior to Android 5) or homescreen. A very simple widget that doesn't use up unnecessary resources.

To use this, just add 'Blank' from the new widget dialog.

Google REMOVED lockscreen widgets ever since Android 5.0, so this widget only works on the homescreen before that and on specific phones.

Recent changes:
Rename, change icon, make available for homescreen.

Comments on Blank Widget for Android

★★★★★ This is EXACTLY what I was looking for and it works perfectly! Fulfills my phone's single widget requirement to have on my phone's home screen so that I can now have just the photo I want to see on my phone without any clutter, since the widget is blank and clear. Fantastic!!

★★★★★ Work as intended, ppl who leaves bad ratings are just stupid. Listen, this app is for those who want to have a good look of their own wallpaper. This especially works for ppl with app grid that can't be left open without any apps or widget in it. Normal apps and widgets are basically an eyesore, so you use this app to keep the grid open

★★☆☆☆ Dosent work

★★☆☆☆ This is absolutely nothing with no observable borders. Total waste of your time.

★★☆☆☆ spotted with Blue Colour

★★☆☆☆ You can't go back to normal

★★☆☆☆ Had to uninstall it wouldn't work
