This application will allow to use your device as a remote mouse and keyboard for your PC/PS3.
Since low level apis are used, there is no way by now to ensure 100% compatibility with all devices (because of different bluetooth implementations of some vendors): if the log says "invalid or inactive bluetooth device" your only option is to try a different ROM like Cyanogenmod (if available).

Quick tutorial:
- Open the application and click on the start button (top/left button ">")
- Check for errors in the log window
- IMPORTANT: if you got the error "invalid or inactive bluetooth device", your device is not supported and your only option is to try a different ROM like Cyanogenmod (I cannot fix that because the problem is at "kernel" level).
- Pair your device with an host of your choice*
- Once paired, click on the lens button (secondo top/left) to refresh the available bluetooth devices
- Click on a device of your choice to establish a connection
- Once connected a green screen should appear
- Single press to simulate the left mouse button (the background should change in blue)
- Double press to simulate the right mouse button (the background should change in red)
- Hit "menu" to show/hide/change the keyboard

*Tested hosts:
- PS3: works
- Linux: works (tested on Ubuntu 10.10)
- Windows 7: not working yet
- MAC: ? (not tested)
- Vizio Internet TV: works

I got the app working on my CM7 Desire by making it force close and then reopening. Good stuff!

Installed it on my HTC Desire with GingerVillian 1.2. Worked with my Playstation 3. Hope this will lead to a media/bluetooth-player remote

It is in Beta but it should first support HTC and Samsung Devices lol .

Would love to test this, I might even buy it if it wors.. but it isn't compatible with adfree - useless, I'm not dropping my adblocker for anything.

Doesn't work on HTC sensation Tried with MULTIPLE roms, including Cubism and the new ICS. Doesn't work, says something wrong with Bluetooth.

The way remote control should be implemented Excellent... This is the way this kind of app should be implemented... As a standard bluetooth input device. Add a simple filter to make movement less jittery and implement scrolling and it will be nearly perfect. Great job!

Works, some improvements possible Works well, if slightly shaky. If possible, an (optional) scrollbar on the side of the touch area, like a touchpad? Also, an alternative keyboard for PS3 that has the buttons for media control labelled as such and laid out like a remote control? I imagine this would be easy, it's just the sixaxis keyboard with a different set of button images and a different layout. The mouse accelerators might need a bit of tweaking, or maybe I just need to tweak my settings. Some of the punctuation doesn't work for me, such as @.
