How Familiar uses each permission:
- Full Internet Access: Required to send and receive photos using Familiar's online, secure servers.
- Read Contact Data: Used to access your contacts when you invite family and friends. Your full contact list is NEVER uploaded and stored on Familiar. Only the contacts you select are invited to join Familiar.
- Storage: Familiar stores image thumbnails and fullscreen images on your phone or tablet. The space used can be adjusted in the app settings.
- System Tools: Required for push notifications. Familiar does not prevent your phone from sleeping.
