I love this app. The bird calls have allowed me to get so many great pictures of birds

The app has dramatically improved in the last year. The UI is much more compliant and adding sightings is as easy as it used to be. However, I still do not get any actual alerts for my, well, alert list; I have to open the app and go to my list and see if any sightings of my desired birds have been reported. Given all the trouble I have had with this app in the last couple of years, this is a relatively small gripe that I can live with. Much better, Audubon! Keep up the good work!

My husband and I love this app!! We tag team using Audubon and Merlin to identify by sight and sound. Audubon works best for visual ID and Merlin for song identification. Happy birding!!!

I used this app a number of years ago and loved it. Decided to download it once more but, oh my! What a fall from glory! The bird identification was once a waterfall approach where you'd logically step through size THEN colour etc... but am I losing my mind or does it only allow identification by size OR color OR whatever? That's ridiculous!!! Imagine talking to a fellow birder. They ask you to describe the sighting, so you say: "It was this big." Then: "...and...?" You:

My app just updated and how is it always more of a piece of garbage than it was before. With every update it gets worse. Do you want everyone to use Merlin? You can't backlog bird sightings because the app won't let you change the date. Every time you scroll, it automatically scrolls back to the current date. Sightings hotspot list is showing places nowhere near where my search criteria is asking. I am searching for Pensacola, and it is giving me locations all over south Florida.

What was once a tremendous app for bird watching is now a huge waste of time. I can't add sightings anymore, and it's virtually impossible to get to the specific information for birds in my life list. Such a disappointment.

Really need to update the species list. New species have been added and others lumped.
