With Cast To UPnP/DLNA for GMusic, enjoy streaming your cloud Google Music uploaded by yourself and from the All Access subscription (including Radio) to: XBMC, DLNA TVs, PCs, WDTV Live, PS3 (from the XMB), Xbox 360 (including while playing games), Sonos, Android (with BubbleUPnP), various hifi gear from Denon, Pioneer, Onkyo, and many many more. You may even have an UPnP / DLNA device to play to on your network without knowing it!
Playing music is as simple as selecting your favorite UPnP / DLNA device in the Google Play Music app Chromecast menu, and using the Google Play Music app for control.
You can control playback from:
- the Android Google Music app - the iOS Google Music app
FEATURES:
- emulates UPnP / DLNA devices as Chromecast devices that can be selected as devices to play to in Google Play Music's Chromecast menu - play to UPnP / DLNA devices that are not renderers but that can browse media servers and play from their own user interface (PS3) - play to web browsers and any desktop app able to play wav streams (VLC, foobar2000, ...) - can run on any Android device on the network (eg not necessarily the device on which Google Play Music is running) - can handle several Google Play Music instances running on different Android devices, playing to different UPnP / DLNA devices
Streaming is limited to 20 minutes per app launch. This limitation can be removed by purchasing the unlocker within the app.
NOTE: Cast To UPnP/DLNA for GMusic only works with Google Play Music and only with cloud music (no local files).
In case of a problem with a particular UPnP/DLNA device, please do not use the comment section for support but use the "email developer" link instead. Also, keep in mind that many UPnP/DLNA devices have issues, and that something not working is not necessarily due to the app. It can be: a device issue, an Android issue, a WiFi issue, a router issue (yes routers have bugs too!).
Recent changes: 1.1.13 - fixed track cut a few seconds before the end on some renderers - fixed playback not starting on some renderers
1.1.12 fixed playback not working anymore with some renderers (mostly DLNA TVs)

Unleashing Google Music on my TV What a great app! Simply brilliant. Unleashing the dlna capability of my TV with my Google Play subscription. I love it!!!

Amazing! LOVE IT! Just downloaded and works perfectly so far. Really amazing! The best part is that you use the Google Music app as remote control - even controls volume from inside GMusic app. I'm going to try for a few days and if all works out will buy unlock license (update: bought it)! Exactly what I was looking for. I'm using it with Nexus5, wife's Nexus4, XBMC HTPC and XBox. Note: You have to enable UPnP control in XBMC. Might be enough to get me off Spotify (using with Spotimote-a great app). GM is so much slicker...

No longer works on a NaimUniti Used to work perfectly but now fails completely. When it's running other UPnP controllers can't see my stereo either. It's a shame, it used to be a great piece of software.

Not bad but.. Bought it a few weeks ago and have had a few reliability problems. However, when it works it's fine with no glitches. But I am getting the track advance problem that others have highlighted. Shame really as the potential is great. Would be 5 stars if it was more reliable and would actually play a whole album without me having to select each track manually.

Horrible This app doesn't work at all. It says can't play sideloaded song remotely. WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. STUPID APP
★★☆☆☆
Nice theory but.. Still won't advance to the next track in the play list. Kinda useless to pay for this and only be able to play one song.

Stops after each track unless I skip ahead or pause/unpause I'm using this to stream music from Google Play to my Pioneer XW-SMA1-K wireless speaker. If I try to play a playlist, playback stops after every track unless I skip ahead right after the track ends. There's also a bit of a delay. Two stars, because it "works", but the experience is really annoying. Unfortunately I only figured this out after buying the paid version. I'm not sure how to go about requesting a refund, but I would if I could.
