Trillian

Trillian is an instant messaging app that works on phones, tablets, and desktops while keeping your chats neatly synchronized between all of them! We think conversation should be easily shared between all of your devices, not trapped as text messages on your phone. Here's how we do it:

• INSTANT MESSAGING: Your unique Trillian username can be used to send unlimited messages free of charge. Trillian uses your existing data plan and/or WiFi.

• ANYWHERE: Trillian's continuous client feature delivers your chats instantly between all of your connected devices. In addition, Trillian automatically silences push notifications on mobile devices if you're active on a desktop - no more dealing with a phone buzzing on your desk all day!

• SIMPLE: Trillian places a strong emphasis on fast and reliable message delivery and a beautiful, easy-to-use interface.

• SECURE: All communication with Trillian servers uses TLS to ensure third-parties can't read your chats.

• INTEROPERABLE: Of course, Trillian wouldn't be Trillian without support for Facebook Chat, MSN, Google Talk, AIM, ICQ, Yahoo!, and Jabber.

Recent changes:
• Notification improvements.
• Mobile indicator can now be disabled.
• Fixed issue with not being able to send photos from gallery.
• Fixed issues with large and empty bubbles.

This app is awesome for cross service and cross platform IMing.

This is a great multiple-protocol IM client. It looks nice and it's easy to manage your chats.

Currently the best multiple protocol messenger for Android. Ugly UI, non existing support but the software is working.

I've been using this for a while. now getting hacked. I keep getting people in my chat that I don't know. any suggestions? I've been deleting the chats, otherwise you can deny/block, but I keep getting more.

Definitely a top 3 for me. I'd rather like to be able to conveniently change status with a Widget or have a widget that has some control over accounts in some way. An option to disable the Trillian notification would be nice as I can open it via status bar when I get a IM.

Been using Trillian for years Love having all my chats in one place and the look and the feel have always been top notch. Still waiting on SMS integration and this would be hands down a 5.

It gets the job done Trillian has served me well for a couple years now, and despite a few hiccups along the way I still prefer it over anything and everything else. I wish it could support skype, but they can't help that skypekit was discontinued. The other hiccups are occasional failures to sync with the desktop version, and a tendency for the chat interface to go black, though restarting my device fixed the latter.
