Comments on Newsr for Android

★★★★★ Great RSS reader for tablets First rss reader to offer proper support for honeycomb.

★★★★★ A great way to read your news This is a great Google Reader client, and I use it heavily. The few issues I have with it are pretty minor: The read panel is just a trifle narrow for some webcomics and graphics related articles. It would be nice if I could hide the labels/feeds panel for more space. If the integrated web view were capable of following links, that would be great, too. I'm looking forward to using this app for a while to come.

★★☆☆☆ Slow and basic Eww it's slow comparing with Taptu for example. And no portrait view.

★★☆☆☆ Sorry little piece of crap Crashes all the time, will not mark the articles read or will not see unread articles. And the navigation is lacking.

★★☆☆☆ No offline mode Useless when traveling on a plane or in a subway or anywhere there's no good Wi-Fi connection. Definitely has ton of potential and would lose gReader or News Rob if it has their Google Reader sync *AND* offline capability.
