Description
WiFiFoFum scans for 802.11 Wi-Fi networks and displays information about each including: SSID, MAC, RSSI, channel, and security. WiFiFoFum also allows you to connect to networks you find and log the location using the GPS. KML logs can be emailed.
WiFiFoFum is a wardriving app to locate, display and map found WiFi networks. The Nearby feature relies on user contributions to operate. When you have contribute enabled information about the APs your device scans will be recorded and shared to other users of the Nearby function so that this service can continue to be provided in the future.
Note: 1. Use the exit menu to quit. 2. Requires SD card.
Recent changes: Several bug fixes and improvements to the underlying app, plus support for the latest versions of Lollipop and upcoming Marshmallow.

Longtime user I'm a big fan of WiFiFoFum, but it was crashing on launch after I upgraded to Android 6. I couldn't find any help online, so I started tinkering. I was able to get the app to launch by toggling permission for Contacts, Location, Phone, and Storage (only worked with all four toggled) under Settings -> Apps -> WiFiFoFum -> Permissions. I hope that helps some of the other folks experiencing crashes immediately after launch.

Crashes /won't start on LG G4. Crashes /won't start on LG G4. Edit +++fixed by turning on permissions under settings >app management, but won't run on Android 6 from Play store as is unless you do this. Needs fixed by developer.

Not very useful The radar is a joke. You need the magnifying glass to read anything. There are many more similar apps that are more useful. Sorry. Uninstalling.
