You’ll still need to log on to full Internet Banking at firstdirect.com regularly to access all services. We recommend you do this at least every 14 days. Some of the Internet Banking services that you can only access by logging on at firstdirect.com are:

• full statement information
• details of monthly charges, fees and interest
• sending, receiving and viewing attachments of secure messages•setting up payments to a person or organisation you haven’t paid before
• cancelling or amending a payment you have set up

We don’t charge you for this App, but we can’t say the same for your network provider, who may charge you for downloading and using the App. You’ll be responsible for these charges.

We recommend that you don’t use this App abroad, but if you do, you’ll need to make sure that it’s permitted by local law, and remember your network provider’s charges may be higher.

The App may be withdrawn at any time; we will tell you if this is going to
happen.

It’s important that you only download Apps in accordance with the terms and conditions that you have agreed with Google.

User reviews of first direct Banking on the go
Loving the look and the way it allows access to the services i need at the press of a button, however recent update keeps giving problems with the log on process, it fails to take you on to correct page ... spacing the button on the page might be a good future update !

Surprised at all the negative reviews Granted, the very earliest build of this app was buggy and frustrating. But that was a long time ago now. The app was revamped and redesigned a little and now runs perfectly. I use it on a daily basis, can't complain!

Poor user experience Was working OK on Nexus 5. Unable to authorise on my new Nexus 6 due to constant crashing. Why is this app so clumsy compared to other banks? Have a look at Nationwide for how to do it properly....

Utter rubbish This app has always been completely useless compared to the iOS version. I hoped it might have improved in the two years since I last had an Android phone but no, it's still hopeless. Slow, buggy, pretty much unusable. Very poor job 😡

Crikey! Not used much yet. Took a lot to set up and after I have opened this app then navigate away to e.g chrome then shut screen off when I wake my phone up again this app is open. Even if I left chrome open when phone goes to sleep. What's that about?

Security processes are a pain I appreciate that security is paramount, but there's a fine line between accessibility and security. First Direct have gone too far in my opinion.
