To use this first direct Banking on the go App you need to be a first direct customer and registered for first direct Internet Banking.

We know that you like to manage your money when you’re ‘on the go’. That’s why we’ve created this App. It allows you to see and use some of your Internet Banking services more easily on a smaller screen.

Our App allows you to:

• view balances and up to your last 90 transactions
• make transfers between your accounts with us
• make payments to a person or organisation you have paid before using Internet Banking
You’ll still need to log on to full Internet Banking at firstdirect.com regularly to access all services. We recommend you do this at least every 14 days. Some of the Internet Banking services that you can only access by logging on at firstdirect.com are:

• full statement information
• details of monthly charges, fees and interest
• sending, receiving and viewing attachments of secure messages•setting up payments to a person or organisation you haven’t paid before
• cancelling or amending a payment you have set up

We don’t charge you for this App, but we can’t say the same for your network provider, who may charge you for downloading and using the App. You’ll be responsible for these charges.

We recommend that you don’t use this App abroad, but if you do, you’ll need to make sure that it’s permitted by local law, and remember your network provider’s charges may be higher.

The App may be withdrawn at any time; we will tell you if this is going to
happen.

It’s important that you only download Apps in accordance with the terms and conditions that you have agreed with Google.

Recent changes:
We've focused this release on adding a few look and feel improvements to make the app easier to use. These include:

- Adding Bill Payment and Transfer shortcut buttons to the bottom of the Balances and Transactions screens
- A new numeric keypad to make it quicker to enter amounts
- Tweaking the menu so that the most popular options are visible without further touches

Loving the look and the way it allows access to the services i need at the press of a button, however recent update keeps giving problems with the log on process, it fails to take you on to correct page ... spacing the button on the page might be a good future update !

Complicated useless banking Like others have been a Fd user for years due to their simplicity and customer friendly online portal. What a badly designed process this is. Get it sorted FD

Awful app. Insanely over-complicated processes Not only is the app incredibly unstable (Samsung galaxy S5) but the process First Direct have put in place for logging on/transfering funds is insanely over-complicated. These factors combined make using this app a generally very unpleasant experience.

Works fine for me thanks. Feels like the website functionality but fits in my phone's screen quite well. Did they drop having to provide a regenerated code (a la SecurID RSA token) to log on - this is same as logging on to PC website.
