Garmin Fit™

Turn your Android phone into a powerful training tool with the Garmin Fit™ app. See your current walking, running or cycling stats at a glance or review them later thanks to automatic uploading to Garmin Connect. It even allows you to select the perfect soundtrack for your workout.

For a small monthly or yearly subscription, you also gain access to the LiveTrack feature, which allows you to send invitations to others via email, Facebook or Twitter*. They’ll receive a link to a website where they can view the position of your mobile device on a map (when configured for outdoor use in the Activity setup menu). Your time elapsed, distance, speed, elevation and more will also be viewable in real time. It’s a handy way for loved ones to track your races or keep an eye on you during your outdoor training.

Garmin Fit provides:
- Current speed
- Distance traveled
- Route traveled
- Calories burned

If your phone is ANT+ enabled, you also can see data from your Garmin fitness sensors. Easily monitor how hard you’re working with a heart rate monitor, train indoors with a foot pod or receive valuable cycling data with a speed/cadence sensor.

Wish there was a free or ad supported version - GPS apps are notoriously flakey on phones - how will I know this even works?

Various bugs to fix. 1. Cannot delete an activity 2. Rather use android music player to skip pause and play via jabra sport+ 3. Each time the app start I must reconnect my heart rate and foof pod. A little work and this can be a stunning app!

Doesn't display correctly on Note 4 Font is too big on time, distance, pace and calories. Didn't fit into allocated space. Needs an update.

Trouble with the calorie tracker Lately this app has been seriously under reporting my calories burned. Today I went 4 1/2 miles and it said I burned 215 calories. It just started doing this. It used to work just fine.

Very nice..BUT..... OK. It's a good App but I do have issues. Firstly I'd like to have audible prompts every mile with timings. Voice activation would also be nice. And more importantly, why can I not change from kilometres to miles. I've searched until I'm blue in the face. I can find no way of doing this. I've even uninstalled it and re-installed and got no option to choose MPH or Kilometres. WHY WHY WHY.
