Garmin Fit™

Turn your Android phone into a powerful training tool with the Garmin Fit™ app. See your current walking, running or cycling stats at a glance or review them later thanks to automatic uploading to Garmin Connect. It even allows you to select the perfect soundtrack for your workout.

For a small monthly or yearly subscription, you also gain access to the LiveTrack feature, which allows you to send invitations to others via email, Facebook or Twitter*. They’ll receive a link to a website where they can view the position of your mobile device on a map (when configured for outdoor use in the Activity setup menu). Your time elapsed, distance, speed, elevation and more will also be viewable in real time. It’s a handy way for loved ones to track your races or keep an eye on you during your outdoor training.

Garmin Fit provides:
- Current speed
- Distance traveled
- Route traveled
- Calories burned

If your phone is ANT+ enabled, you also can see data from your Garmin fitness sensors. Easily monitor how hard you’re working with a heart rate monitor, train indoors with a foot pod or receive valuable cycling data with a speed/cadence sensor.

User reviews of Garmin Fit™
Wish there was a free or ad supported version - GPS apps are notoriously flakey on phones - how will I know this even works?

Rubbish Description is wrong, no Ant+ support, sensors not detected even though other apps can see them.

Very disappointed and outdated!!! I'm surprised by this app especially being a paid app from Garmin. I am a huge Garmin supporter but this is a terrible and outdated app. Seeing it's had no updates since November isn't promising for the app itself. I hope Garmin reads the feedback and comes out with a updated app that's worth $.99.

This app is really bad - It doesn't detect my Garmin Chest Strap, but it doesn't tell me it in a intuitive way. Nothing shows up and I have to live with the idea that probably what's going on is that my phone might not be able to connect with an ANT+ device. - It displays the option to connect with rdio, but it doesn't do anything. Like, nothing. Doesn't start playing songs, doesn't show a music library, nothing. - I tried using it while exercising at the gym, and it was absolutely useless - it doesn't record any activity while you aren't "moving" - and since the gym is indoors, and I didn't have a chest strap compatible with it, it's only a timer - and a poor one. The elliptical itself can do that, thanks. Why exactly do I have this app?

Love it! Works great, nice look and feel, just needs auto start/stop functionality.
