Garmin Fit™

Garmin Fit™

Turn your Android phone into a powerful training tool with the Garmin Fit™ app. See your current walking, running or cycling stats at a glance or review them later thanks to automatic uploading to Garmin Connect. It even allows you to select the perfect soundtrack for your workout.

For a small monthly or yearly subscription, you also gain access to the LiveTrack feature, which allows you to send invitations to others via email, Facebook or Twitter*. They’ll receive a link to a website where they can view the position of your mobile device on a map (when configured for outdoor use in the Activity setup menu). Your time elapsed, distance, speed, elevation and more will also be viewable in real time. It’s a handy way for loved ones to track your races or keep an eye on you during your outdoor training.

Garmin Fit provides:
- Current speed
- Distance traveled
- Route traveled
- Calories burned

If your phone is ANT+ enabled, you also can see data from your Garmin fitness sensors. Easily monitor how hard you’re working with a heart rate monitor, train indoors with a foot pod or receive valuable cycling data with a speed/cadence sensor.

User reviews of Garmin Fit™
Wish there was a free or ad supported version - GPS apps are notoriously flakey on phones - how will I know this even works?

Great for indoor workouts. I use this for indoor runs so I can listen to music and track my ANT+ sensors with only one device.

An excellent tool, but why no Ant+???? I have now downgraded my review from 5 stars to 1 star. The app still runs, and still provides LiveTrack data. BUT - the Ant+ features of the App are grossly misrepresented. This is NOT an Ant+ compatible piece of software. The iPhone app is Ant+ compatible, but NOT the Android App!!! I have the OTG cable, the USB Ant+ pod, and the peripherals, and I know they work together because OTHER Android apps can use them without a hitch. But not Garmin Fit. In my email to customer support, Garmin's response is simple: "The Garmin Fit app and the Ant+ dongle are not designed to work through an OTG cable." ALL of the literature on this App suggests otherwise, so at the very least it is a misrepresentation of the product's abilities. So, if I want my heart rate logged using my Garmin HRM and my Garmin Ant+ dongle with the same app that provides tracking for my family to know where I am, I'll have to use something other than Garmin software.

Cannot sign in to Garmin Connect! The app works very well, but I cannot sign in to Garmin Connect via the app, which limits it's utility.

Not finding ant+ devices I am trying to use this app while riding my bike however the app will not find my speed/cadence sensor. I know the sensor is fine because it connects to other devices but refuses to connect via this app. Fix this please!
