Latest update cause the connection with car disconnected every few minutes and, reoccur again and again

This syncs up with my vehicle's display and works without a hitch. Very nice! Since first posting this in 2019, I am using the app to stream music in another vehicle, and its performance has been stellar. The only issues I've had are when I drive through the National Radio Quiet Zone in western central Virginia/eastern West Virginia and that has nothing to do with the app. If there was a new feature I could ask for it would be for it to modulate the sound volume, so the playback is consistent.

Android auto is the interface between cell phone and infotainment center. Disappointing that there isn't more apps that interface with the vehicle. The app attempts to make vehicles look and behave similar when each vehicle manufacturer wants to be different. Personally I think they are doing a good job! A way to keep your hands on the wheel, make calls, listen to texts, be read news information while balancing distracted driving. But there is room for improvement

Disconnects if you lose cell signal or in rural areas. Always have connection issues from having BT off and turning it on while I have the vehicle on. Drains battery since it utilizes phone Wi-Fi or something like that. Still terrible 9-7-24. Still terrible, same issues 2-17-25, same issues 6-5-26. Samsung S22 Ultra.

This app sucks. If you're thinking of buying a car that uses it be prepared for disappointment. It only connects about once every 50 times you try to use it. The company you buy the car from (even if a brand-new car) can't do anything to make it reliable. It's a failed app and nothing but aggravation

0 nil point. Google Assistant is too often deaf or stupid. From 4 to 2: It was good for maps, not for calling. Google Assistant is unreliable/useless - mishears requests, names, texts, or "can't help", & doesn't read webpages out loud! WhatsApp voice msgs no longer play via AA - only via phone speaker which isn't safe, legal, or useful.

Phone calls do not work over Bluetooth. Everything else does. Calling worked perfectly fine, then abruptly stopped after the last app. Update. Nothing has changed on my vehicle. Other non-android phones work fine. Very frustrated.
