Very disappointed with this app. It deleted my old photos and videos without my permission. At first, the app would not even open, and when it finally opened, all my previous data was gone. I lost important files because of this app. Please fix this issue and help recover my data.

App worked perfectly for years and now recently, around 8/26/24, hidden photos are unwatchable, and you cannot unhide nor hide anything else; it takes your new photo, says "0 out of 1 photos hidden" and is seemingly deleted. The files still exist in the system settings, but some files in app appear empty/deleted. Please fix as soon as possible, Video Locker is inoperable as well. I am on a Samsung S23+

You can find repository in GitHub search Holman/photo-video-locker-decrypt — you'll find a tool with full explanation on how to recover your locked photos and videos. Hope all affected users can see this!

Unable to recover my locked photos in this app. This app not using recovery pin to send on phone number but on recovery email which never show the recovery pin on recovery email. Tried a hundred times but never sent the recovery pin on recovery email. Why not using alternate communication option (phone number) to contact the owner of photos that were locked in your footlocker.
