★★★★★ It's good, but I sometimes get notifications of messages way before the message can actually be read in the chat window.

★★☆☆☆ I stepped into an elevator while using the app. Predictably, my phone lost connection. Predictably, HipChat reconnected in the network sense. Unpredictably, the app failed to transition to connected even though I was receiving messages. I had to reinstall the app to get the app to recognize that it was connected.

★★☆☆☆ Constantly connecting to server when phone unlocked. Messages come in but can't send without waiting ages or logging off and back in. Chat groups show user as leaving and joining the room whic is a huge flaw in the app

★★☆☆☆ HipChat was discontinued by Atlassian in February. This app will no longer work.

★★☆☆☆ You cannot delete messages from a 1 to 1 chat or delete it at all. If you delete a message from web, in mobile app will remain even after reinstalling the app.
