Samsung fascinate (then s3, s5, s6, and now s7) has the volume buttons directly across from the unlock button. This app 100% fixes my issue of accidentally changing volume! I've been using this app for years and years and I highly recommend it.

ON SAMSUNG NOTE To silence phone without intethering with Volume Locker STFU actually works!

Love it, exactly what my clumsy fingers needed. Reverts volume changes unless allowed via onscreen prompt. Great job. Maybe I won't miss so many calls and messages...unless I want too!
★★☆☆☆
Lagniappe I used VL on 2 other devices & loved it. My s7 & I find it useless...app runs but does not lock anything but your access to modify any volumes. And when you click MORE, all you get is thanks to developers who helped...no thanks!
★★☆☆☆
Won't adjust to silent mode I'm using Audio Profiles and when I set it to silent Volume Locker volumes are still locked so ringtones, notifications etc...are still being heard. This app seems not to work on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on Android 6.0
★★☆☆☆
Not useful on galaxy note 4 Even after I enable app volume lock, but can still alter volumes if I press volume key
